I am an attorney licensed in New Jersey, New York, and India, with a practice focused on cross-border legal matters involving India and the United States. I also represent clients in domestic divorce and child custody matters in New Jersey and New York. Where appropriate, I collaborate with counsel in India on international divorce and child custody matters involving India.
My practice primarily focuses on international family law, including Hague Convention proceedings, non-Hague return matters, Hague Service Convention issues, international child custody disputes, international child relocation, international divorce, jurisdictional conflicts, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. I also advise clients and attorneys on legal issues involving India, including adoption, surrogacy, and immigration.
In addition, I advise on Indian copyright, trademark, and entertainment law. This aspect of my practice draws upon my LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, a program consistently recognized among the leading intellectual property law programs in the United States.
